Rollback option
can a feature be added to the new OptiSurface version to roll back the latest changes made to a design? for example, when trying to edit a subzone you accidentally click on delete subzone and instead of needing to redraw the subzone and set all the parameters again you can press Ctrl+Z to get back the last change.

Customized Report
A customizable report with options of pages, and the addition of a title page and a summary page would be amazing. This is easier for customers and operators to interpret. At this time, I have a customized excel spreadsheet that I created that has a cover sheet and a summary sheet with all calculations in one location. I have to then take the excel spreadsheet and convert to pdf then combine it to the optisurface report pdf to generate. It’s very time consuming. Complete report customization would be a huge improvement in my opinion due to the majority of my…

Equal Subzones?
When designing, we divide the field into subzones as tasks for each tractor operator. Would it be possible to have a function where we choose how many subzones we want and the software creates the subzones with similar cut/fill quantities?
5 votesThis is a good idea. Our new OptiHaul Map in OSDv3.5.4 will greatly assist with manually creating these subzones and we will think hard about how to do this automatically as an extension of the OptiHaul Analysis. Thanks again for your suggestion.

Software update button
Check for update button would definitely be nice. - on behalf of Billy Beaudry
1 voteWe are working on a new web based version and should automatically update. However, if it is run offline, we may need to force the update.

Be nice to have credits used to make the design written somewhere.
After we unlocked a design and closed the unlock window telling us how much credits are required, there is no way to see how much was used again. Would be easier for billing because sometimes credits used area and field areas aren't exactly the same.
3 votesApologies, we have not implemented this. In our new web based version we will make this a priority.

We are working on a new version of OptiSurface that will run completely on the cloud and you'll be able to share your designs to your client with a link and they can view all the details of the design. We are interested in your thoughts on this idea and should all layers be available to them?

Section information
It could be useful to have a window appearing when we leave our mouse on a section line for two seconds that would display name, main slope % proprieties, max chage % etc....
7 votesWe are totally rewriting OptiSurface Designer and we're thinking the best way to implement this would be to left click on a section line and the properties would be displayed on a panel on the right hand side of the screen where you can edit them if required.
Let us know your thoughts on this idea.

CPU Only at 30% Capacity when Calculating
My CPU only works at about 30% capacity while calculating. Having to load a big file (~400 hectare field) often is cumbersome. Is there a way to speed it up?

3 votesIn our new web based version, we will take advantage of multiple cores for the analysis tools. However, the landform design calculations are a lot more complex and difficult to spread to multicores although we are attempting to do this.

How about adding a feature for converting units?
I'd love to have a feature that enables me to switch from metric to imperial without having to start again from scratch.
- On behalf of a user in QU Canada15 votesWe are working on a totally new version and excited to tell you that you will be able to change units on the fly. It is a total rewrite but there's no firm release date as of yet. It could be at least a year away.
