Unable to Execute File; Code 14001
Problem:
Installed OptiSurface Designer and an error shows up saying 'Unable to Execute File', see error image below.
Solution:
This error usually results if the proper Microsoft Visual C++ is not installed in your computer. Please download and install Microsoft Visual C++ (2008) x86, see below for the link. Be sure to select the compatible language to your Windows version, ie French.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable MFC Security Update (x86) - shown as Version 9.0.30729.6161
Uninstall and reinstall OptiSurface Designer after installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.
